What is it, why would you need it & how does it work?
Why would you need Parent Coaching?

You are feeling frustrated and at the end of your rope and you don't know what more you can do
You are resorting to bribes or rewards for behavior compliance
You are having issues with routines and transitions
You are feeling angry, worried, stressed out and guilty about your parenting
You have read volumes of parenting books, have read extensively a variety of parenting websites without sustainable success
You know you need to make changes, you just don't know how to do it
You want to really understand your boys and their behavior better, and how you fit into that dynamic
You know quick fixes don't work in the long run and are ready to do the work required for more positive results
What is parent coaching?
A positive and practical collaborative process between a parent and a coach with the goal of cultivating a more positive relationship with our children.
Customized support and advice based on your individual family needs.
Reflecting on current patterns of parenting to unravel triggers and develop a realistic plan of action.
IS NOT a therapist ~ the aim is to educate, not diagnose.
What will you gain?
A sense that you are understood and supported
More confident about your parenting skills
Knowledge about the roots of your boy's behaviour and what is developmentally appropriate
An understanding of which strategies work and don't work for you and your family
Positive parenting; responsible and respectful disciple strategies
A connection that will always be a safe place to return to when you find yourself struggling with new challenges
How does it work?
Each new client participates in an initial free 30 minute 'Discovery Call'. During this time we will discuss your situation and decide the best way forward.
Clients can choose the Personal Coaching Package, The Sonhood Society Membership, or from a vault of courses depending on their needs.
Coaching sessions can be conducted by Skype or Zoom.
Meetings are scheduled weekly, for 3 weeks, as well as additional sessions when needed.
Based on each session, strategies and a plan of action will be developed and followed up during consecutive sessions.
Parents will be empowered to use the skills and strategies they learn and apply to raising their son.
Be your son’s greatest advocate & reach out for support.
